Spectacular restaurant Iris opens in Norwegian fjord (must see video)

The restaurant is helmed by Anika Madsen, a Danish chef known for her passion for discovering new ocean ingredients, and her commitment to sustainability. Until recently she held the position of Head Chef at the lauded Fasangården restaurant in Copenhagen.
The restaurant will exist in an experience centre, Salmon Eye, which opened in 2022 and is themed around sustainable marine life. The structure features a double-curved ellipsoid design, the silvery orb-like dome seemingly floating in the middle of the Hardangerfjord waters. The fjord itself is surrounded by stunning mountains and glaciers.
